Special Needs Parenting Support

Parenting a child with Special Needs can have its difficulties.

If you're a parent of a child with special needs, you may feel isolated and alone. But believe it or not, there are about 6.6 million special needs children in American public schools, making up approximately 13 percent of the school population. Assuming two parents per kid, there are something like 13 million special needs parents in the United States.

When you have a Special Needs child—biological, adopted or otherwise—there's next to no true preparation. Dr. Kroner will help lend support by helping parents navigate what services are available, and how a parent can choose the right ones; What options for schooling should be considered, and how parents can guarantee that appropriate support is in place; Help  parents maintain the strength to support the child and other siblings; Discuss possible long-term challenges in order to prepare; Help with finding the best doctors or therapy practices to support the child; and simply offer a holding space for parents to voice their concerns, fears, and allow a safe environment to express their emotions.
